Making a Murderer

Like many, I just recently watched the new Netflix documentary, “Making a Murderer.” I was left with my mouth hanging open…going through a full range of emotions from shock to outrage. The series is raising questions about the high-profile Wisconsin case involving Steven Avery and his nephew, Brendan Dassey-and with good reason.

The series focuses on Steven Avery, who spent 18 years in prison for a rape he didn’t commit. He was finally exonerated in 2003 by DNA evidence. Avery filed a $36 million civil lawsuit for his wrongful conviction in the 1985 rape case. That suit had embarrassed several law enforcement officials in Manitowoc County, exposing possible misconduct.

You wont find any spoilers here. There are so many twists and turns in this story-numerous times ( I admit) I was yelling at my computer in utter anger  and rage.  I strongly recommend you watch all 10 episodes and if you are so inclined, please share your thoughts via comments here.
